Grendel is a partial wearable puppet. The puppet is mounted on a harness which is worn on the chest of the puppeteer. Grendel's head is connected via steel rods and ball joints to a helmet worn by the puppeteer, which allows the puppet's head to move in response to the puppeteer. The puppet's feet attach to the operator's shoes and the puppet's arms are controlled by rods.
